On this ( not so somber) day of Wednesday, October 14th, 2009, I have decided to Officially disband the Hillary Clinton Army.

Right now Hillary Clinton is somewhere on this planet promoting peace and diplomacy,

and we, the H.C.A., helped make this happen!

Many, many thanks to all of you, dear friends, for marching every step of the way with the H.C.A.!

From our beginnings, where you helped get me to a luncheon to make our presence known to Hillary,

to all the super-fun art projects,

happenings, and parties that we threw.

The awesome and ridiculous concepts we dreamed up...

and then made happen on the Global stage.

We made dreams a reality, and then some!

I never would have dreamed I'd find myself sitting with Bill Clinton and watching the debates!

We crossed paths with lots of stars along the way, like Rob Reiner,

Jason Jones of the Daily Show....

Ted Danson,

Terry McAuliffe,

Chelsea Clinton,

and the whole Clinton family!

We played on Hillary Clinton Island for Hillary's birthday,

and traveled the world with the Art Envoys.

We definitely made more fun Pantsuit art projects than anyone on earth....

what a blast this has been!

Now, after way too much Pantsuitin' fun, this Pantsuit and I are thinking it's time to split!

So after over two years, thousands of pieces of Hillart, thousands of blog posts, art shows, fashion shows, Pantsuit art, wonderful adventures etc......I move on to new adventures.

No adventure is fun alone, so I hope you will join me.

Thank you H.C.A., friends and supporters of the H.C.A., and most of all, thanks to Hillary Clinton, for being an unending source of inspiration and light.

Today I'm thinking about clothing in terms of what kind of shadow you cut.

You should always consider your shadow, don't you think?

Everyone already knows that the purple Pantsuit is the shape-shifter. Unless you are trying to fool your own shadow, this one should be approached with caution.

The UV Pantsuit

I finally got back in the studio today, and let me say I'm feeling rusty with the old paint brush.

Here's a couple of paintings I did today while I thought about.....wait for it....

Nancy Sinatra and the UV Pantsuit.

I've put myself on a diet of strictly Nancy Sinatra, nothing else shall pass these ears.

I like the idea of designing UV Pantsuits and cool UV clothes... the ultimate in Lady's protection.

They must however, pass one vital test from the get-go...

COULD NANCY ROCK IT? If not.... it's back to the drawing board for this gal!

Love her! I'm thinking Hillary should do something fun about now like make a music video or have her own T.V. show.

All this endless war and diplomacy stuff... hardly any fun at all!

It's taken me a mere two years to discover an evil little button on my camera they call the "self-timer". This may turn me into a real monster.

This Pantsuit is by "Koret of California".

Judging by the big white stitching on the lapels it was made around 1975.

Due to it's special orange color and era, I'm going to call this one "Lady Marmalade".

Pantless Pantsuits

Yes, Fall is here and the unthinkable is happening... thanks to Lady Gaga, the Pantless fashion craze is hitting the runways all over the world.

Pants are flying off left and right, as Haute Couture designers everywhere are ditching the pants for this new leggy look.

Thanks Lady Gaga for ruining fashion for us all!

For us Pantsuit wearers this is a sad day indeed. A new low in the fashion industry.

What is Hillary going to do? What are WE going to do?

We need to think long and hard about relinquishing our stretchy- elastic-waisted-polyester-pantsuit pants. Dare we do the unthinkable just to keep in step with the fashion trends?

Before we toss all our stretchy pants into the fashion inferno, let us pay homage to one of the earliest trend-setters of the pantless fashion...Miss Judy Garland....

As Judy proves, Pantless fashion isn't anything new. If you are a survivor of the 80's, you know what I mean.

I remember many a night stumbling home from the clubs in nothing more than an over-sized "glamourous lips and eyes" T-shirt, a pair of gigantic plastic earrings, and high top sneakers.

Been there, done that. But Judy looks so hot.. this is a perplexing Pantsuit puzzler .

What do you think, do we toss our stretchy- elastic-waisted-polyester-pantsuit pants or do we hold strong in our Pantsuit convictions?

UV Pantsuits

I met with my friend Kathy from Berkeley today. She mentioned that she wears clothing made of UV fabric, but that most of the designs in this fabric are not going to hit the couture catwalk anytime soon. She has been playing with the idea of designing her own UV fashions.

Hello! What covers the body more effectively AND fashionably than a Pantsuit! I ask you?

O.K., there's the bio-hazard suit, but that tends to scare people off.

I suggested Kathy try on a Pantsuit from my collection and see how it feels....

She went for this scarlet and tangerine number... delicious!

But Kathy, imagine yourself in a coool cobalt making the coffeehouse scene in Berkeley!

Or how about seeing what Haight street looks like through a rose-colored pantsuit?

Or you could lay in the grass, (UV be damned) of Golden Gate Park, and practically disappear!

And why not turn people on their heads in the Purple Haze Pantsuit?

The possibilities are endless. Oh, and let's not forget include the much-overlooked hood onto any or all of these show-stoppers.

New Pantsuit Fashion Show!

This is pleated Pantsuit style Kate is going with, I'm going to call this one "Mighty Pleasin'"

unless Kate corrects me with the name.

This one is complements of Jackie Baer. It was found at the Martha's Vineyard Dumptique, and looks to be home-made. Thanks, Mom!

This is the kind of Pantsuit you'd wear on an Intergalactic Pantsuit Promenade, so I guess I'll call this one "Intergalactic Pantsuit Promenade".

Where will I wear it? I'll wear it EVERYWHERE!

This Pantsuit definitely says "Halloween is Near" so I think I'll call it just that!

Hmmm.... delightful plaid, you could play tic-tac-toe on this number. I think I'll wear this one to Ireland when Hillary goes on her trip there in a couple of weeks. She's sure to invite me along as her Art Ambassador and interpreter for the Wee Folk.

This is the Pantsuit I'd wear while having tea with elves under a mushroom, so I think I'll call it "Mushroom Tea Party".

New techniques for Pantsuit Printmaking

Today I thought I'd try new technique of making Pantsuit prints.

Instead of having people cover themselves in paint and lay down on canvas, (which was a ridiculously fun to do, but produced mediocre results at best) I decided to go with another plan.

This time I quickly covered the Pantsuit jacket in paint, then threw down the canvas on top.

I then squashed the canvas down to get as much paint on it as possible.

Here are some of the results...

I am naming each Pantsuit Print after the jacket it was printed from.

This Pantsuit print is called "Alfred Dunner".

Cloris Leachman and the Clintons

I just finished Cloris Leachman's autobiography ( thanks Emily!) and would like to share with you the "Cloris and the Clintons" passage.

It seems back in 1992 that Cloris noticed that Bill Clinton's "body was becoming distorted from eating on the Campaign trail" from all that "grabbing and snacking". Though she didn't know the Clintons, Cloris felt she could help him loose weight.

She called Hillary whom she'd never met but who's number she'd had "got somehow", and talked to her secretary for probably 45 minutes. After a leisurely chat, she left a message for Hillary that she could "get our new president to loose a few pounds".

Hillary called her back a couple of days later, and was completely open to the idea of Cloris coming to the White House to cook a few meals that the President would enjoy eating, and help him take off the weight that he'd put on.

Cloris suggested she wear a paper bag over her head, so that no one would know who she was.

I don't think Cloris ever ended up in the White House kitchen, but how much do you love those gals?

Pantsuit Promenade

"This Town" by Nancy Sinatra, played in my head as Shawnee and I explored some of the old mining towns of Arizona and New Mexico yesterday and today.

Not much lies between Bisbee and our Sister City of Silver City, except some lonely towns that are now teetering on the edge of becoming ghost towns. Just Railroad tracks, dusty bric-a-brac, and decaying remnants of glory days now gone forever.

These towns aren't the best location for Pantsuitin', but Silver City is a primo place for a Pantsuit Promenade!

And if you like groovy, historic, rambling old hotels with a great cafe, be sure to make the Palace Hotel your Pantsuitin' headquarters!

Today I had the good fortune of getting a tour of my friend Sally's Pantsuit closet...

Sally's Pantsuit collection is impressive. She estimates she has around 100 or so.

Here's just the tip of the iceberg.

Sally has special hangers that allow her to layer her Pantsuits, according to color, size, and season.

Wow, imagine that! Layer upon layer of Pantsuits!

Here's one of Sally's latest acquisitions, purple corduroy with purple leopard lining.

I asked her is she was afraid to wear The Purple, you know, because of the shape-shifting, time travel thing.

She just shook her head YES.

The Magician's Pantsuit

This is the Magician's Pantsuit.

This Pantsuit has Pure-Crushed-Velvet-Purple-Pantsuit-Powers.

Powers not to be trifled with.

The Magician's Pantsuit is never reliable.

This is why Hillary never wears The Purple, at least not publicly. It is rumored she wore The Purple to Bermuda, which explain the whole mysterious "missing two weeks at the Bermuda Triangle" thing that happened last month.

This is the Pantsuit most often chosen for walking between worlds, and for time travel. This is the classic "Now you see me, now you don't" Pantsuit.

When wet, this Pantsuit's powers increase exponentially. It becomes a conduit for receiving messages from "The Great Unknown". It is the Ouija board of Pantsuits.

In fear of The Purple's power, I seldom wear the Magician's Pantsuit.

Today, however, I feel the need to connect with The Great Purple Pantsuit Mysteries of the Universe.

After watching the movie "Grey Gardens" last night ( which I highly recommend!) I decided I'd better attack that scary land I call my closet... room...area...junkheap.

First order of business, I must climb Pantsuit Mountain and see what I can see.

I discovered that I have a lot of Pantsuits.

Not including the 40-50 red pantsuit blazers I have stuffed in garbage bags, (from the Phone Car days), I've counted 42 Pantsuits.

I also have another 20 or so Pantsuits over at the Art Envoy Institute, which puts me at about 60 or so.

Will it ever be enough? I wonder...

This is one of my current faves... it's a rust-colored mohair number I call "Rust Never Sleeps".

Perfect for fall.

Costume Conundrum

O.K., so I am invited to a "Come as your favorite "Movie Star/Rock Star/Porn Star" costume party that starts in a few hours and I have no idea who to be.

Talk about last minute here...I could seriously use your help! Here's a few ideas I have, but I'll consider being just about anybody!

My first thought, to the no-doubt, collective groans of all my friends, would be to be Hillary.

I could bring a multitude of Pantsuits, and repeatedly dive into the pool in all colors of the rainbow.

My next thought is Carol Channing. I just love me some Carol!

Then there's always Phyllis Diller. I don't have a cigarette holder though.

I don't know if I could pull off Raquel Welch, but hey, I'd be willing to consider trying! Oof, groan.

Oh, and another good use of all those pantsuits I have, Shirley Partridge.

Other people that have passed through my brain are Vicki Lawrence, Olivia Newton-John, Mamma Cass, Chesty Morgan, and a bunch of other difficult to pull-off people.

Hmmmm..... I'm really lazy here. Any thoughts?

Plein Air and Pantsuits: The Whole Story

Webster's defines "Plein Air" as "of or relating in outdoor daylight".

Whatever, I just wanted to say "Webster's defines".

Anyway, Plein Air isn't always as easy as it sounds, especially during the record storms we had this weekend. Hail, flash flooding, thunder and lightning... the works!

Old Bisbee itself got the worst of it. Luckily, the garden I chose to paint in, was on the edge of the storms.

Anyways, Day 2, and Lily and I start the morning with a bang!

The sun is shining, we have our polyester groovy pantsuits on, and we're ready to go!

I spent the day painting Peyton's garden entrance.

Lily hid in a fig tree all day... painting furiously.

There were a million people filing through this gate all day long, but I had my secret weapon...my Ipod. "What? I can't hear you, can't talk, oh well!"

I was rocking out to Patti Smith and Blondie and with a mission in mind...

I wanted to paint two paintings before the rains came.

"Peyon's Garden Gate" completed, it began to drizzle.

Lily's fig tree did a good job of protecting her from the rain, so she just kept right on painting.

I moved locations and attempted to bust one more painting out.

There was now sprinkling steadily, with thunder and lightning storms in the distance, giving an air of excitement to the scene.

I cranked up the tunes, and began to throw the paint around, this time to an audience, who probably thought I was pretty weird.

But I did it, it's called "Hibiscus in the rain".

Hmmm... it seems to match my Pantsuit pretty well!

But we weren't done yet... the clock was still ticking! Now we had to rush into Bisbee, and have our paintings on display by 4 PM at the Plein Air competition. We hardly had time to put on a fresh Pantsuit!

The rain storm had passed, and the streets were blocked off for the show.

Lily showed her painting in the youth section, while I put my paintings on display in front of the restaurant I work at... Cafe Roka. There was live music, all the galleries were open, and the street was filled with art and people.

I sold "Peyon's Garden Gate", and won the people's choice second place award for "Zinnias".

I then went to Cafe Roka for dinner, and basically fell asleep in my soup.

Plein Air and Pantsuits: Day 1

I got up sickeningly early, put on my Pink and lime green Pantsuit, and hit the ground running for the first day of Bisbee's Plein Air Painting competition.

This is a private day of painting, as opposed to tomorrow when I will be painting with Art Envoy Lily, in a garden full of flower appreciators.

I would like you to know that although I was alone, I wore the Pantsuit in the hot sun all day long.

My day was spent in Peyton's field of brilliantly colorful Zinnias.

There is a majestic mountain view in the distance.

I have to say the wearing of the Pantsuit is brilliant.

Hillary sure made a wise garment choice...

it keeps the sun off, looks great, and compliments any garden!

Here is the oil painting I did today.

After a moments pause for more photo ops, I cleaned up and climbed back into the Hillcar to go home and get ready for work.

The moment I got in the car, the sky opened up and released a deluge of rain.

So much rain, in fact, that the streets are so flooded I had to find higher ground for safe parking.

Congratulations, Capricia Penavic Marshall!

Capricia Marshall is being sworn in by Hillary Clinton as "Chief of Protocol" for the State Department today. She will have the rank of an Ambassador.

Capricia was a tremendous help to me on the Campaign Trail. She assisted me many times by doing the work necessary to allow the Hillcar to be included within Hillary's rallies.

She is always kind, friendly and very helpful, and I can see why both Hillary and Bill have trusted in Capricia for many years.

It's great to know that Hillary continues to surround herself with devoted, trustworthy, and extremely competent people.

Hunting the Wild Pantsuit

I sent this afternoon hunting for Pantsuits in their natural habitat... thrift stores.

I had to get kind of crafty and wear a variety of disguises in order to catch them.

They are a tricky lot, they usually hide here and there, disguised in boring colors as to blend in with the scenery.

Spotting a truly bright Pantsuit ( ala Hillary Clinton) is like discovering a rare bird... next to impossible unless you want to devote your entire life to Pantsuit hunting.

I've come to the conclusion that one must mix and match.

Bright colored Pantsuit jackets are a dime a dozen, it's those matching unflattering stretchy pants that seem to have flown the coop.

SO, I suggest you buy pants separately, in as close to the same crazy bright color as the jacket.

Of-course you probably won't find pants with the traditional "room to grow in" elastic waist, but maybe this isn't a bad thing.

Mix and match. This is my current technique.

As today is Officially "Back to School Day", the International Hillcar made a special appearance at the Bisbee High School.

Why, you might ask?

Because one lucky student is going to get a ride in the Hillcar to continue their education at the Art Envoy Institute.

That lucky somebody is none other than Art Envoy Lily!

In the tradition of schools all across America, the Art Envoy Institute has reopened it's doors once again today, and the Envoys will be getting back to work.

It has been brought to my attention that a bouncy castle is present here in Tiny Town.

I would just like to say that I am aware of the situation, and said bouncy castle has been thoroughly rejected by the H.C.A., The Pantsuit Army, Pantsuit Envoys, and all other affiliated organizations.
This bouncy castle is way too small for adult usage. OUR Bouncy Castle will be atleast 4 times as big as this one, and will hold up to 2,500 pounds worth of Pantsuiters.

BOUNCY CASTLE PARTY HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR OCTOBER.

Last night I felt the overwhelming desire to bathe in color.

Bright colors. Pantsuit colors. Bouncy Castle Colors.

I wanted to feast my eyes on the brightest colors imaginable....

Luckily, I have some really colorful friends who were able to show up at 6 O' clock for a party that started at 6 O'clock.

Luckily, I have a friend named Bingo who has a crazy-colorful house for us to play in!

Sans Pantsuit Contemplations

Today is my last day on the Vineyard. Boo hoo.

I've had such a great time, I hate to leave. I wish I had more time to visit with my family and my friends, but I will hold dear the time that I did have.

This afternoon was spent sans Pantsuit, on the beach, wearing only clay.

I didn't bring my camera along. I spent the day contemplating the meaning of...

Pantsuits.

I drew Pantsuits in the sand. I came up with some fun new designs.

I vowed to dedicate my life to this Holy Garment.

I know that you know that I'm not kidding.

I contemplating changing the name of this blog to "The Pantsuit Army".

I would like your thoughts on this idea.

The Pantsuit Army will be dedicated to bringing more art to the world.

More art in schools, more art for kids, more art on the streets, more art for everybody, everywhere.

What the world need now is more art...

and more Pantsuits, of-course.

The Disintegrating Pantsuit

It's been one long, wonderful day of Pantsuitin'.

Bart, I mean,"Mr. Tangerine Man", and I started the day fully Pantsuited at Island Entertainment video store,ready to work on our art project.

We spent a crafty day on our project, and we were thrilled with it when we were done.

I will post the photos of this tomorrow, but it's too much to delve into tonight.

Upon completion of our project, we went gallery hopping...

We saw some great art. I even made a couple of great art trades with friends!

We then goofed off wherever the Pantsuitin' seemed good. Signs that the Obamas are here are all around, and there is definitely electricity in the air.

I was having Pantsuit failure, but I didn't really care. I lost the arms in the morning, and felt like my light blue studded Pantsuit was going to give me a draft-aft at any moment.

But it somehow managed to stay more or less in one piece.

We decided to end the day with a swim in the ocean...Pantsuitin' style.

Ocean Pantsuitin' has got to be one of life's greatest pleasures. I really mean that. I wonder if Hillary has ever tried it?

Bart calls his Pantsuit "eerily form-fitting", and compares his to a Super Hero suit.

Though he was tossed around in the waves, his Pantsuit held up beautifully.

Mine however, was like a rare flower that only blooms for a day, and then must die.

Bart as an Italian model modeling the latest in Pantsuit beachwear.

It was about this time that my Pantsuit decided to give up the ghost. All the people on the beach laughed as it disintegrated in front of their eyes.

From the designer to the thrift shop,

from the closet to the sea,

this Pantsuit returns to the ocean,

and on some distant shore...

becomes a polyester tree.

Tomorrow I will be doing a short "How-to" project at Island Entertainment video store, to post on ExchangesConnect, as well as this blog.

The project will be done on the sides of the shelving unit in the kid's section, and will involve paint, stencils, toys and glue.

I whipped up this 8' by 12' banner to cover the videos with while I work.

President Obama and family are coming tomorrow and Martha's Vineyard is crackling with excitement.
But unlike past certain-somebody Presidents, Obama's arrival will be stealth. There will be no flag-waving, no hand-shaking, and there will be absolutely No public events.
Bummer. Everyone used to love when the Clinton's came to the Island, because they went out out their way to meet and greet the locals.
In the meantime, The Clinton's vacation to Bermuda has been cut short due to Hurricane Bill. No one knows where they are spending the remainder of their vacation, but I seriously doubt it is here.

Where in the world is Hillary and Bill? Nobody knows. But I'll do my best to keep you posted!

Well, maybe we'll get lucky and catch a glimpse of the President Obama, I hope so.
But for now I think I'll put on a Pantsuit and sing this song......

Jackie took these photos back in the mid 1980's when Bill Clinton was still Governor of Arkansas.

This was Lani Guinier's wedding. My mother was the wedding photographer. If you recall, the Clinton's and Lani had a falling out in the early 1990's.

Myth of the Pantsuit Art Show Finale

The Finale of the Myth of the Pantsuit started with a bang when my brother Jon put on a pink Pantsuit and started pirouetting around the gallery...

Bart brought along two Djembe drums, and the drumming fun began.

Jon had never really drummed before, but he did great and they drew quite a crowd.

I can't imagine why.

Both Jon and Bart were upstaged, however, by a guy named Justin.

Justin blew everyone away with his drumming abilities. He drummed and he drummed some more.

He was really great. Thanks, Justin!

Lots of people got into the mood, and danced along to the beat in a colorful Pantsuit.

FACT: EVERYTHING IS MORE FUN IN A PANTSUIT.

These boys agree,

and these ladies can testify whole-heartedly!

This guy showed us that even if this Pantsuit doesn't fit, it makes a worthy prop.

After an evening of gallery fun, it was time to run around Gingerbread Cottageland, for Grand Illumination Night.

Our Pantsuits just seemed to match the festive mood.

We felt like we were in Candyland, where you can even eat the dishes,

and the cake!

People really went all out for the occasion, and were super-friendly and generous.

We saw a lot of old friends, and made a lot of new ones.

We even got invited onto the porches now and again. One lady even gave us snacks!

Well, I see lots more Pantsuitin' in the foreseeable future.

In fact, I think I'm going Pantsuitin' again tonight!

I'm confused. I've been doing my best to convince people that Hillary is telling the truth when she emphatically denies rumors about Chelsea's wedding. I say to these people, "Hillary isn't lying, because, well, then she'd be lying... and she just wouldn't do that".

Now here's the confusing part. Not only do these rumors persist, but check out today's headlines in the National Enquirer.

You see, I'm a person who also believes what I read in the National Enquirer.

I tirelessly defend this belief too. The Enquirer doesn't bribe people with the big bucks for nothing.

So, you see, I'm in a bit of a conundrum.

National Enquirer/Hillary Clinton. Hillary Clinton/National Enquirer? I can't decide.

All I know is I will probably be a little peeved if The Enquirer is telling the truth. Only because I believe everything that Hillary says, and I'd like to keep it that way.

Around the Island in 50 Pantsuits

It's been a big long day here in Pantsuit world, and it's not over yet.

The day started around 5 AM, getting ready for an early morning interview with Plum TV.

This airs tomorrow, Saturday, a bunch of times. I don't know how I did, I'm not exactly the greatest in this department, but I did my best. In any case, they definitely loved the Pantsuit!

I then spent hours hanging the show, and frankly, doing a poor job at it.

Thank god my friends Maria and Jamie showed up and saved the day!

Maria came up with this great idea for displaying my work, which involved a bright piece of paper with a black border behind each piece to frame it.

Jamie blasted the Nancy Sinatra and went on a cleaning spree extravaganza.

We finished the job, and the place now looks fantastic!

Maria is finishing up the rest here at home. She's making labels for my paintings.... sigh!

The next piece of exciting news comes in the form of a package that came this afternoon.

Well, I'm here on Martha's Vineyard!

I'm putting up posters and talking up Pantsuits to anyone who will listen.

I'm soliciting small children on the beach to get them to come to my art show.

I'm flagging down anyone who might want to play 'Pantsuit" with me.

I'm starting to look at people as moving props.

Is that a bad thing?

Meet Maria!

Tonight I'm staying with my old friend Maria, in Providence Rhode Island.

We have been friends ever since art school, one zillion years ago.

You'll be seeing a lot of her this weekend, as she will be my Pantsuit Partner in crime.

Most people consider Maria to be the unofficial mayor of Providence. If you take a walk down the street with her, you'll know what I mean.

Everybody loves her here, it's always "Maria!!!" everywhere you turn.

Year after year, she gives her all to improving her city, and her efforts show everywhere you look.

Where things where once a bit run-down in Providence, there is now a thriving art scene loaded with galleries, art spaces, cool hipster shops, and cafes.

Maria has definitely played a huge role in this.

Besides all the work she constantly does on behalf of the city, Maria makes her living as a high-end bridal jeweler.

She's kind of like an Italian Rhoda Morgenstein, except instead of dressing windows, she dresses up the city.

And speaking of dressing up... wait to you see the Pantsuits she has in store for us this weekend!

Pantsuit Beach Party or bust!

I've only made it as far as a Tucson resort so far, but it feels like another planet...

It's this weird, "beach in the desert" concept that baffles me. I mean, we're in the middle of the desert, why am I supposed to pretend I'm at the beach?

This is all so mysterious, I just don't think I fit in.

People are looking at me funny. Is this the kind of response Hillary gets when she wears her Pantsuit by the pool?

All I can say, is thanks god YOU understand me.

We've tried explaining this whole Pantsuit thing to the guests here, but they just look at me like I have three heads.

Well, their loss, not mine. I'm heading to a REAL beach where everybody wears Pantsuits, and none of these people are invited.

I've packed up all my art and pantsuits and I'm ready to hit the road!

I hope you all will join me on this adventure to Martha's Vineyard, for the "Myth of the Pantsuit" art show.

I will be blogging my way through a field of Pantsuits, and hope you will follow along.

I plan to EXCLUSIVELY wear my new orange and purple, custom-made pantsuit these next couple of weeks.

So please stay tuned, this should be fun!

As most you you know, the Obamas will be visiting the island at this time as well, but will the Clintons?

We can only hope!

How does it make me feel? I feel Fabulous.

Where will I wear it? I'll wear it EVERYWHERE!

Yes, I mean it, everywhere. With the possible exception of swimming, and even that's open for discussion.

Gabby Giffords in Bisbee

Tonight was action-packed over at Cafe Roka, due to a visit by Arizona Congresswoman, Gabrielle Giffords.

She was late getting to Bisbee, because an angry mob of Tea baggers blocked her way when she was trying to leave the near-by town of Douglas.

It sounds like things got kind of hideous down there, but the only Tea bags we saw in Bisbee were the ones Cochise Country Democratic Chairman, Bob Bland, brought.

We had our own protesters though, but they were all Democrats and friendly, so nothing got out of control in this department.

The toughest, meanest protester of all was probably my neighbor,Roman,who reportedly believes "Blue Dogs" are some kind of candy that is bad for you.

Gabby rocked the mic about health care reform. She explained to people that she fully supports it, but believes we must be fiscally responsible and be realistic when choosing our plan.

Lots of people voiced their concerns over health care.

I realize this is their one chance to speak their mind to Gabby on this very important topic, but

just the same, ZZZZZZZZZZ.

I felt kind of sorry for her here. BOOOOORING!

Mark Stitches, our local doll-maker, livened things up when he gave Gabby a hand-made Obama doll.

I think she liked this.

Afterwards, I got a moment to chat with Gabby. She pointed out that the last time she saw me I was wearing a gold crown. She talked about coming down to Bisbee to have some fun next Halloween, I hope she does!

I told her about the "Gabby Mobile" I want to make her. Pink and purple and covered with "My little Ponies". I made her laugh if nothing else.

Anyways, Gabby is alright by me. She's real, she's smart, she sticks to her own principles... and most of all, she's fun!

The Panter Party

The deep, dark forest in the place that the pantsuit people go when they turn feral.

Yes, it happens, it's even happened to me once or twice.

It's hard to tell from this painting, but the "Panters", as they like to be called, are in fact wearing fur pantsuits and animal masks.

The Panters are responsible for creating such groups as the "Black Pantster Party".

If you know your Hillary Clinton Army trivia, you'll know what I'm talking about.

The Panters love pranks, tea parties, crank phone calls (when they go into town), tussling, and anything to do with crowns and Royalty.

They tons of fun, but tend to take jokes too far.

Wendy is a dear friend who is a tour manager for some really great musicians. She gave up her life as a real estate agent to hit the road and live her dream. Following your own path isn't always easy, but it's absolutely essential if we want to be truly happy, fulfilled, and have a positive impact on the world.
