Stephanie Tubbs Jones

By Disco Jeri

Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones was my hero. She had such integrity, and she was such a great woman and amazing public official. I feel so blessed that I had the good fortune of meeting her this year and telling her to her face that she was my hero. She was the only member of the U.S. House of Representatives to rise to challenge the electoral vote of the 2000 and 2004 presidential elections. In 2000, she was not joined by a single Senator, but in 2004, she was joined by U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer of California. This resulted in a full debate outlining voter irregularities and how it impacted the outcome of the 2004 presidential election. She was a champion of civil and equal rights and she had the courage to stand up in support of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton and lead her Ohio delegation in the 2008 Democratic Presidential Election. Even though I am not from Ohio, she made a difference in my life and lives of people across this land. I was so profoundly affected by her courage and by her leadership. I am so deeply saddened by her passing; But every time I look at this photo, I feel energized...energized to care, and to keep working to make a positive difference in the world. She was truly my hero.-- And her spirit lives on! Jeri

I am so glad that Jeri wrote this, I was so upset when I heard the news yesterday, first that she was in critical condition and then that she had passed, that's a truly great photo, WOW, so sad that such an amazing woman Stephanie Tubbs Jones, who fought hard for what was right has left us!

Dear INS Officer Franks, I am thrilled that my car has been located. It disappeared from my parking spot last week. The assailants left only a heap of empty Red Bull cans and sake bottles behind. I have saved these in plastic bags for possible evidence.
I do not know these characters you speak of, but I think the book should be thrown at them!

Clearly they are not Obama-supporting Americans and should be punished to the full extent of the law!

P.S. Is there any chance you could put them into custody in those new barbed wire pens at the Denver convention? I think their punishment should befit their crime. Lock them up with other Hillary-supporting lunatics until you decide what action should be taken!

Miss Baer,We regret to inform you that Chew-Mee Moore has escaped! She slipped out of her hand-cuffs like a wet eel,and is now belived to be in route to NYC.She is now on the FBI's 10 most wanted list, she is also wanted by INS,NSA,CIA,HLS,BPD and St.Elmo's for an unpaid bar tab of $5000.00! Louise on the other hand is sleeping like a baby at Elephant Butte's Mental Hospital. She was very happy with the Qualude-Thorazine IV we gave her.
