I'm in Boone
Here I am in North Carolina at my friends Melissa and Jen's house. It is a cozy mellow house with cats and rain on the tin roof. I have my own room with a big bed and down comforter, really nice. Melissa just fed me some of the best soup I think I've ever had! Boone looks like a sweet little town, though I've only seen it in the dark so far. Guess who is coming to Boone tomorrow.... Bill Clinton! Weird, huh? Tomorrow should be fun. Melissa and Jen have set up a couple interviews in the morning with the local paper and T.V. We will also be going thrift shopping for pantsuits! I don't know if I can pull off a bunch of Hillarys tomorrow, but hell...I'll try!

Hey Gretchen, you go girl! Seems like the same pace as when we went to PA, first Bill Clinton shows up really close to where you are, and then it just steam rolls from there! Stan's memorial service will be Sunday at ROKA and Buzz will sing a few songs, at their request. Leigh's on her way over here with Josie. I still plan on heading to Tucson for the primary watch party with Judy and Lynne and Kees. What time does your plane come in on the 7th, if you do actually come back? Let me know!
I bought the Michael Jackson CD you told me about, and it's GREAT, I will burn a copy for you! I also ordered another one called ESSENTIAL MICHAEL JACKSON, 2005, that's supposed to be best compilation ever put out.
What a wonderful coincidence - Bill Clinton again! The whole family knows you already. But they will also love the Red Phone car. And all the Hillarys. You are marvelous, darling!!!

Weird synchronicity! I purchased a tapestry yesterday at SAS Fabrics of Humpty Dumpty to have Leigh make me a bag. Just now on the way home from Douglas on talk radio from somewhere, they were calling Obama HUMPTY DUMPTY, and saying that HILLARY pushed him off the wall, and like the original story there was a fissure in him now, that just can't be repaired. That everytime anyone looks at him now the Rev. Wright stuff is in the background too, and that humpty dumpty has fallen. The fabric also reminded me of Mo's amazing present of Humpty Dumpty. In PA DUTCHIE ways, this is a definate SIGN that HILLARY will win the nomination.
Hooray! Hillary's going to win! And Gretchen will be invited to the White House.
Gretchen, please remember to tell any Clinton/Rodham that you meet that you know Walter Kaye's daughter Joan in Tucson. Walter gave Chelsea her 21st bday party in NYC where he lives. Hillary attended the funeral of Joan's mom a couple of years ago - secret service and all! And the Rodham brothers know Walter and Joan also. Joan said to tell you that!
Had to watch the new "Women's Murder Club" on tv tonight so now can hit the sack!
