Mystery at the dumptique!

"The Dumptique" is one of Martha's Vineyard's finest treasures. Located at the West Tisbury dump, the Dumptique is a FREE thrift shop where you never know what you might find or who you might run into!
I decided to join in the fun and volunteer there today!

I saw Barbara Hoy, one of my favorite Island musicians. She always has a great new band going, her latest being an country rock-a-billy band! She is pictured here with Thing 1 and Thing 2, which had just come into the Dumptique!

But wait! Here comes Linda Alley! She makes the best jams and jellies on the Island and sells them at the Farmer's Market each week. She is taking a break from canning to see what she can find!

Here's my partner in crime, Roberta. Who happens to be my cousin! She is a fierce Hillary supporter, look out!

But never mind all these great folks, let's talk about " The Mystery at the Dumptique!" Oooh!

Even Hillary loves a good mystery!

On my way to the Dumptique today, I asked the gods of junk to show me a sign that I am on the right path with this whole S.H.I.R.L.E.Y. thing.
I looked around for a while and decided nothing Partridge was going to be revealed, so I gave up looking.

But something about this puzzle piece lying on the floor caught my eye!

I looked more closely. Isn't that Danny Partridge, I wondered?

I looked closer still. Hey, that's Susan too!

The pieces of the puzzle where coming together for me, literally! Where on earth did this come from? Gleefully I riffled through the puzzles until I unearthed this gem!

Yes folks, we have a real clue here! Don' worry, I put the evidence in a zip-lock baggy for safe keeping!

I think we are on to something!
Let "Clintons for McCain", "Puma", "Nobama", "Votergate" and all the others do their thing! We of the Hillary Clinton Army are on to much bigger stuff!
If you find any clues at home please send a photo, or if you dare... the real live evidence! S.H.I.R.L.E.Y. for President!
Does anyone know how to get in touch with Shirley Jones?

I don't know about Shirley Jones, BUT I hear you can get Danny Bonaduce
to come anywhere , at any time for about $35.00 and a ham sandwich. He'll even dress up like a clown and make balloon animals. :)
Wish me luck! I'm heading off to Seattle for an art show, now.

has all the info and an interview !

Oh my God! Gretchen, that is so so so cool. Tell me you really found that piece on the floor and then found the rest. That is the message you have been sent to the ISLAND for. It could not be any clearer. I see an amazing painting coming out of this puzzle or some more MELMAC, comeon! xoKATE

I'm on the hunt today for more CLUES! This sure beats hanging around feeling upset about the way things went! It all comes down to S.H.I.R.L.E.Y.P.A.R.T.R.I.D.G.E!
It's so weird how that spells her name!

I got a gold shirt at the Dumptique

Gretchen!!!! I don't look bad for
a woman who's been marching in marches since the 60's.
